Jahvon, plain and simply is just that dude. A quiet, humble person who transforms into an energetic, charming, charismatic performer through his music, he has a star quality that you have to be born with and can't replicate in a lab or through a marketing campaign.

Since having first heard him in late 2006, as barely a teenager, he stood out from the pack. His delivery, subject matter, and poise on a song is lightyears beyond artists his age.

Jahvon is quietly navigating the music industry, crafting his sound and building a verbal repertoire packed with future classics.

We are extremely proud to introduce you to Jahvon, his talent is one that we are very passionate about and we are sure after watching him share the stage in this intimate and interactive evening you'll feel the same.

Originally created/curated by Jason Botkin and Tim Barnard, and now under the direction of Botkin and Rupert Bottenberg, EN MASSE is an ongoing series of artistic conversations, a non-linear dialog connecting many artists through the creation of large-scale collaborative black and white murals.

The shape and character of each specific EN MASSE event is defined by those creators who take part in the project, and the energies they individually and collectively bring to the mix.

EN MASSE brings together emerging artists drawn from the diverse fields of the ‘high’ and ‘low’ brow arts, the latter including graffiti, alternative comics, and illustration.

There's been a lot of use of the word 'new' at WRG over the past year. From the editorial changes (new columns, new bloggers, new staff) to moving into a new office and (finally!) getting a new (and damn good) coffee machine, we've been a busy bunch.

All the while, we've also been working on creating a new look and feel for the WRG website. (I told you we'd been busy.) Who says you can't keep a secret in the information age?

Today we can finally unveil the new site. We're excited, and admittedly a bit jittery. The months of planning, discussing and sussing out how to make WRG better has finally come full circle.

Join us in celebration on Saturday June 11th.

The En Masse artists on site will be painting directly on to special bottles of Absolut throughout the evening. The unique canvases will then be available for purchase via ebay with the proceeds collected from each sale benefitting a local charity. Sale will begin on June 12 and run for a two week period until June 26th, 2011.

Check back here to place your bid and see the final works of art.
